These projects are mainly concerned with promoting children's rights, empowering women and children, and promoting people-centred and sustainable models of development. It has a coordination office in Pune and four regional offices in Bangalore, Pune, Calcutta and Delhi. TDH-G in Bangalore provides support to 25 voluntary organisations in the southern states. It supports projects which work with child labourers with the aim of educating them and their families; provide relief and support to vulnerable children like those who have been abandoned or disabled; promote adoption within the country. TDH-G especially supports projects that promote the equal status of girl children and women through health care, legal aid education and vocational training. It also campaigns for the eradication of child labour through changes in the laws, and campaigns for the rights of displaced and marginalised groups. It creates public awareness and motivates the public to oppose injustice and discrimination. In addition to financial support, TDH-G also organises workshops for its partners to enhance their understanding on various socio-economic and cultural issues, and supports training for their staff.
