Turning Point is a child guidance centre that has diagnosis and assessment facilities for children with developmental and learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioural problems. It offers individual and family counselling, and formal and informal therapy, including play, art and psychodrama. It has remedial sessions for children with learning difficulties and slow learners. It provides developmental programmes for children to foster creativity, leadership, self-esteem, communication and social skills; and it conducts workshops for parents and teachers. It offers career counselling, sexual health education, and effective study skills programmes in schools and colleges. It networks to bring together professionals and parents to share their expertise and concerns.
