Details of Work

Snehalaya provides support to NGOs working with children and women by creating awareness through the local media, and building partnerships between NGOs and organisations or individuals who want to support them. It conducts literacy programmes for non-school going children, and offers special classes and tuition for school going children. It provides vocational training and career guidance for youth, and organises talent search programmes. It holds medical camps for slum children in collaboration with NGOs and hospitals. It also runs Chrysallis*, which provides a creative space for the performing arts, for socially disadvantaged children and children with disability.
