Details of Work

SODWAC works in the area of health care in the villages of Anekal, Yelahanka and Hebbal. It provides nutrition for children, and refers those who need treatment to hospitals. It works with children in creches and anganwadis in the field of health. It offers financial assistance and medicine to people who cannot afford treatment. It provides coaching classes for children of Std 6 and 7 who are enrolled in government schools. It has one non-formal education centre for girls above 10 years who are mainly school drop-outs.
