Dr Veronica Mathias is a parent of an adult daughter with Autism. She is the course director of the Diploma in Special Education - Autism ( DSE-Autism) run by Karnataka Parents Association for Mentally Retarded Citizens *. She is a Council Member of KPAMRC and an advisory board member for India Autism Forum. She directs the Mothers' Support Group, an informal group of mothers of children with Autism. She organises seminars and workshops, lectures and video presentations on issues related to autism and networks with individuals and organisations both within and outside the country
