Deepika runs a pre-school and two resource centres. The pre-school has 250 children where children with learning problems such as hyperactive and attentive disorders, dyslexia, and perceptual disorders are identified, assessed and provided remedial teaching. Children who can be mainstreamed are put into school, and those that require additional remedial teaching come to the centre after school. Children with learning disabilities such as dyslexia, and slow learners who cannot be mainstreamed continue at the resource centre that runs up to Std 6. It has a parent support group that meets every fortnight.
