Sri Sajjan Rao Vidya Samasthe runs a free school up to Std 7 for socio-economically disadvantaged children. It has a section for normal children and a special section for children with moderate and profound mental retardation. It has an academic and pre-vocational training programme; and provides counselling and health care services. It also holds workshops for parents. It is part of the outreach programme of the Spastics Society of Karnataka*.
