Details of Work

The Speech and Hearing Centre provides diagnostic and rehabilitation facilities for persons with congenital and acquired hearing impairments. It assesses the level of impairment, prescribes aids, provides speech therapy, and organises referrals to ENT specialists. It organises camps in conjunction with the Rotary and Lions clubs for diagnosis and counselling on management of speech and hearing disability. It refers economically disadvantaged persons with hearing disability to the government of Karnataka.
