Details of Work

CEE-South is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. It organises action-oriented environment education (EE) programmes in schools. It produces EE materials, including textbooks, activity books and children's books, and is one of the nodal agencies for introducing an EE dimension in school teaching. It also trains personnel from educational institutions, government and voluntary agencies, and has programmes to improve the urban environment. It networks at state, national and international levels.
