Details of Work

CII-IQ is a developmental institution engaged in the development of organizations, people and society. In partnership with the Karnataka government, it has conducted the First Response programme with the objectives of creating awareness among schools on the principles and practices of quality and; to mentor and support these schools and help improve school environment related issues. It aimed to cover over 1500 teachers of 520 schools so that its impact would reach over 1,00,000 children and the community around these schools. Topics ranged from communication skills, team working and brainstorming to housekeeping and time management. It also conducts awareness programmes in private schools and trains trainers of NGOs. CII-IQ plans to provide advanced training to principals, headmasters and block and cluster resource persons. It also plans to introduce Total Quality Management curriculum in educational institutions and apply ISO for educational institutions.
