Details of Work

The Gender Studies at NIAS focuses on promoting gender rights within the human rights framework through research, policy and advocacy. It undertakes research on issues related to education and health, including the impact of classroom processes on social structures, the effectiveness of classroom processes, the status of the girl child vis-a-vis education, health and work. It also offers gender sensitisation training for teachers and administrators.
