Details of Work

Sruti works with school drop-outs and non-school going children in 20 villages of Anekal and Kanakpura taluka. It runs 15 children's centres which have non-formal education and vocational training, and plans to open several more by the end of the year. It mobilises resources for marginalised children and helps develop locale-specific materials in Kannada. It also trains teachers in non-formal teaching methods.
