Mr Sethu Madhava is a media person concerned with education. He is interested in the use of creative and innovative teaching methods. He uses audio-visual media to stimulate thinking and learning skills, including elements of theatre. He is involved in the design and development of a flexible curriculum for self-expression and sensitivity to social issues; and an experiment in which children are encouraged to explore and express their emotions using folk stories. He has also highlighted the issue of child labour in the sericulture units in Magadi, Karnataka, where he ran a school for the children.
