Details of Work

Enfold has a team of two doctors and one child development expert. It works with seven educational institutions, serving children from primary to higher secondary school, to help them understand their growing bodies and emotions. A programme of five sessions is held on human anatomy, reproduction, sexuality and emotional changes at puberty, gender sensitisation, HIV, STDs, and child sexual abuse. Children are also taught communication skills and conflict resolution. Enfold also holds training programmes for teachers and parents to understand physical, emotional and sexual changes in children, child sexual abuse, how to answer a child's questions, disciplining the child, and issues of intelligence and learning.
