Details of Work

FPAI provides family planning and reproduction health services for adults and mothers. It provides sexual health education services, and counselling on STD/HIV/AIDS for youth. It trains health care givers and government functionaries. It offers health and education services, and runs balwadis for the community. It is involved with consultancy, research, advocacy and networking in partnership with voluntary and government agencies. It has 38 branches nationwide and a network of 2000 NGOs working in family welfare. It is a founder-member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).
