Details of Work

Muktangan is an informal organisation that believes in giving children an opportunity to freely express their creativity. It organised a creative summer camp for children that also exposed them to issues related to history, the environment, and religious tolerance. It also gave them opportunities to interact with the elderly, and disadvantaged children. The camp culminated in a puppet show where the children were involved in the script, music, and costumes. It conducts workshops on puppetry, art, craft, dance and theatre; and has also held creative and personality development workshops for slum children, and children in orphanages.
