Details of Work

The NSD-RRC Bangalore was established as a theatre training centre. It conducts workshops for directors, actors and playwrights, and technical theatre workshops. It also organises seminars, exhibitions and festivals to promote regional language theatre, and held a national theatre festival in collaboration with Kadambari*. It promotes theatre activities for children through productions and workshops in schools. It can conduct either week or month-long theatre courses, depending on the schools requirements. It is also involved in developing an archive of theatre-related material in print and audio-visual media.
