Ms Tara Kini is a teacher of Hindustani Music and Physics, and a freelance journalist. She has developed the India music programme, including a curriculum for integrated music, dance and drama, in the school where she teaches. She has conceptualised, composed and directed the music for several performances including Indian and Hindustani classical music programmes, and theatre productions. She has had formal training in Bharat Natyam, and is currently engaged as a consultant for the production of a CD ROM on Hindustani classical music
