Ankura Foundation was started with the objective of working in the area of education, childcare and research of normal, special and underprivileged children through innovative methods of teaching using the 3Ha Way!! - a methodology that is based on brain science research focusing on holistic development of children in the age group of 2 to 6 years. Ankura's Pre-school and Kindergarten Ankura'™s Pre-school and Kindergarten section provides a head start to prepare the child for formal schooling and life. In these critically formative years, the child'™s natural curiosity, desire to explore and to learn is capitalised by using The 3Ha Way!! of teaching. The process adapted ensures a balanced development 's“ physically healthy, mentally alert, socially competent, intellectually able and spontaneously creative children. Ankura'™s Centre for Early Intervention and Inclusive Education Ankura'™s Centre for Early Intervention caters to the needs of children with special needs:  Ankura in partnership with Com-DEALL Trust runs an Early Intervention program in the morning from 9am - 12 noon  Ankura Pre-school Intervention program for children who are integrated. Children with special needs like Down'™s Syndrome, or slow learners are offered additional help from 12.30 - 3.30 PM. Ankura provides a tailor made programme for every child'™s needs and abilities to meet the child'™s learning capacity. Ankura provides multidisciplinary intervention programmes which includes special education, physiotherapy, occupation therapy, speech therapy and counselling. Ankura'™s Day-care Centre Ankura provides day-care for children of working mothers till 6 pm. Ankura'™s other activities Children's summer camps on environmental issues, drawing and painting classes dance classes Research Develop innovative modules for teaching normal and special children. The Foundation maintains a ratio of 1:1 for individual sessions and 1:3 or 8 for group sessions (depending on the age group).
