Karuna Kini is a special educator with over 20 years’ experience. She works with children with autism, multiple disability, global delay, learning disability, and also with slow learners. She focuses on early intervention and also works with high functioning autistic children who are in the mainstream. Ms Kini has conducted programmes to teach language skills, classroom behaviour, and social and play skills. She can help parents structure a child's home environment to take her towards independence. Karuna Kini is a member of the Autism Society of India and a life member of the Karnataka State Council for Child Welfare.
