They work at 3 levels with a core group of schools, offering: 1) School-based programmes that use visual art and design to foster curiosity, creativity and learning. The belief is that the arts can be used to inculcate problem solving, collaboration, communication, risk taking etc among students. 2) The professional development of teachers, encouraging them to reflect and enhance their practice and develop an interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning. 3) They working with school administrators and teachers to positively impact the school culture. Art Sparks implements its programmes via Creative Learning Labs and Model schools.
