Details of Work

Chiguru rehabilitates working children in the silk twisting units of Magadi taluka. It lobbies for policies and legislation in favour of working children.. It conducts workshops to build awareness on the issue of child labour for parents, employers, schools, police, and government officials. It networks at local, state and national levels, and is an active member of the Campaign Against Child Labour, Karnataka*.
