Details of Work

Janodaya has programmes for the integrated development of slums. It runs creches, pre-schools, and classes for school drop-outs. It has health programmes, and trains women in child care and family life skills. It provides education and health for rural children. It works with seven quarry worker communities and provides child care, education and skill training. It has mobile and regular health clinics. It rehabilitates women prisoners and their children in seven districts of Karnataka, and has homes for abused women and their children.
