Details of Work

MYRADA works in the area of community development, forestry and wasteland management, and the resettlement of displaced persons in the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. It works with 25,000 children of landless and marginalised communities in these states, with a special focus on the girl child. It provides non-formal education, upgrades primary education services, sets up schools wherever necessary, and forms School Betterment Committees. It also offers health care facilities.
