It has vocational training, creative and craft activities, and plans to open a multi-activity centre for children. At Bangalore, it has an information service on mental retardation and associated disabilities. It offers counselling and training workshops for parents and teachers. It provides assistance in forming parent self-help groups, and small-scale support to disabled persons and their families towards education, medical care and employment.
