Details of Work

Rajan Speech and Hearing centre is an autonomous institution catering to those with speech and hearing impairments, 20-25% of whom are children. To treat people who cannot afford to pay for its services, the centre conducts free camps at its centre in Bangalore once in three months, and in towns such as Doddaballapur, Davanagere, Tumkur in Karnataka as and when possible. It also provides its services for free at camps organized by the Lions Club about once in two months. The camps are open to all. While the test, consultation and counselling are free, any equipment provided has to be paid for.
