Details of Work

Mitra Jyothi offers training in Braille. It also provides Braille equipment including slates, mathematics boards, while canes, playing cards, chess boards and cricket balls. It runs a `Talking Book' library with audio cassettes for general reading and textbooks for students. It also has a recording centre, `Gyana Vahini'; and offers counselling and job placement services.
