EMPACS works in a slum community, where it runs a creche, two balwadis, and an integrated school for slum children that includes children with mental and physical disabilities. It also provides vocational training. It has a nutrition programme and an early intervention programme that identifies children at risk. It rehabilitates children with congenital and acquired brain injuries, and physically handicapped children. It trains mothers in health care and provides medical aid and immunisation. It proposes to set up a centre for children with autism and other brain injuries on the Hennur-Bellary Road. It also works with women and the aged.
