Details of Work

SKIP is an all-India association of skill training schools with over 200 members across the country. These institutions provide vocational and technical training for socio-economically disadvantaged youth. It also co-ordinates placement of trainees from its member institutions. It offers consultancy in conducting need-based studies, monitoring and evaluation of skill training programmes, curriculum development, and setting up vocational training centres. It has training programmes for its member institutions and other interested organisations; and other interested organisations; and networks at local, state, national and international levels.
