Details of Work

WWF-India is primarily involved in the conservation of biological diversity, minimisation of pollution and wasteful consumption, and the promotion of sustainable lifestyles. For children, it conducts education programmes and nature camps, usually during the school vacation, to orient and sensitise children towards nature and environmental issues. It organises nature trails and slide shows in schools, and has set up 30 nature clubs for middle and high school students across Karnataka. It provides technical, resource and material assistance to these clubs as needed.
