Details of Work

The Akshay Patra Foundation is a trust founded by ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness). It provides nutritious mid-day meals everyday to 43,000 children of government schools from about 225 schools within a 60 km radius in and around Bangalore. ISKCON has built a special kitchen on its premises to cook the food at one time and specially-built trucks to transport the food to the schools.
