Dr Ranjan Pejaver is a neonatologist with a specialisation in paediatric cardiology. He has trained community health workers, nurses and paramedics in neonatal care and management in Zimbabwe, Saudi Arabia and India. He has worked with children with HIV/AIDS, and published a paper on the clinical manifestation of HIV/AIDS in children. He is involved in immunisation programmes and health camps for underprivileged parents and children. He is one of the founding members of PACT* (Pediatric All Children's Hospital*. He runs special clinics for high risk babies where their physical, mental and social development is monitored. He has published a book for medical and paramedical personnel, the Pocket Manual of Neonatal Management, on the day-to-day problems of newborns. He is the editor of a journal, Perinatology.
