Aim To provide opportunities to children who are isolated due to physical, medical or economic circumstances and help them get back into the mainstream.

Details of Work

Dream a dream conducts workshops and activities for children from slums and streets, and those with HIV, cancer, or disabilities; with a focus on exposing them to new opportunities to help empower and integrate them into the mainstream. Activities include music, theatre, origami, sports, clay modelling, picnics and visits to historical places. Every three months it conducts a 2-day "Dream workshops for about 60-80 children to expose them to different activities. Dream a dream interfaces with different NGOs and aims to work with children for a period of 5-7 years in order to enhance and build upon their interests. It also conducts awareness programmes through its 150 volunteers to break the taboos that exist in mainstream society which isolate these children.
