Details of Work

Sanskriti has an annual membership fee of Rs. 250. It conducts 4-6 week workshops for its members children on heritage and creative arts. In the heritage workshops, children learn about ancient myths and legends through stories, games, art, dance and play-acting. The creative art workshops offer rangoli art, pottery, folk dance, theatre, yoga, lino printing and similar arts. Workshops are held on Saturdays. Sanskriti also holds all-day workshops during summer. The workshops are conducted by resource persons who are experts in their field or in collaboration with other organisations. For its 150 members, Sanskriti arranges lecture presentations, workshops and performances. Non-members can attend on a first-come-first-served basis.
