Details of Work

Karnataka Nataka Academy aims to promote theatre for all groups of children. It conducts production oriented workshops with high school children and teachers. It is involved in a programme in 135 slums, where it has formed a 35-member children's troupe. It encourages children to use theatre to address social issues in the slums, and to take up theatre as a vocation.
