Master Karun, aged 9, started his career at the age of 4, and has performed over 500 magic shows. He has won the first prize in the All Karnataka Magicians Competition for juniors in 2003; has received the Karnataka state award; and was a delegate at the International magic festival held in Udupi in 2001. He performs at children s parties and has also raised funds for charities such as the Kargil soldiers and Gujarat Earthquake Relief Funds. He regularly performs for old age homes, cancer and AIDS patients, de-addiction centres, orphanages, mentally challenged children and government schools for free.
