Details of Work

EnAble India has been working with adults with disabilities for close to a decade. The organisation also has a branch that focuses on children with visual impairments. This branch offers consultancy services to schools and families of children with visual impairments, including information on academic modifications and inclusive education. EnAble also provides in-service training to teachers of children who are visually impaired; resources to parents and teachers of children who are visually impaired; orientation and mobility training for children who are visually impaired; information on Braille and the Nemeth Code (Braille Code for Mathematics and Science);and computer education for children who are visually impaired.
