Details of Work

The Institute conducts courses in Montessori primary and pre-primary education. These include classes in child psychology, educational theory and supervised practical sessions. It also offers a correspondence course in infant education. The Institute runs a Montessori Research and Development Center that was started by Prof. Rajendra Gupta in 1980. The research centre has materials he conceived as a result of his extensive work experience with children. IIMS is affiliated to the Indian Montessori association.
