Tech Mahindra Foundation is the CSR wing of Tech Mahindra Ltd. In the last 8 years, the Foundation has been supporting /funding in the areas of education, vocational training and disability. This year 2014-15, TMF Bangalore seeks to adopt four BBMP schools under its whole-school-intervention program. It is also proposed to work in partnership with BBMP in the schools rather than create a parallel system in the selected school. Hence all the interventions are expected to match the school’s annual calendar and enhance the quality of their curricular transactions. In this regard, we have identified four key domains to work with: Academics, Creative expression, Teacher empowerment and Community awareness. As per the policy of TMF board, it is essential to carry out interventions in a project mode and aim for sustainability and eventually up scaling it to other BBMP schools. For this we are planning to carry out an intensive base-line study in all the above four domains for need analysis and then to come up with a comprehensive plan of intervention for five years.
